Delegates from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada visits TUAF

On July 29, 2015, a delegation from the University of Saskatchewan (U of S), Canada including Ms Penny Skilnik, Director of Special Project and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Anh, an Electrical and Computer Engineering specialist paid a visit to Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Nong – Vice Rector, Mr Nguyen Huu Tho – Vice Director of Science-Technology and International Cooperation Department and Dr. Hoang Thi Bich Thao – Director of International Training & Development Center had a meeting with the U of S delegation.

At the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Nong extended warmest greetings to the U of S delegates.  In addition, he suggested potential fields to promote the prosperous collaboration between two universities such as: Joint research project; student & faculty exchange; and sending lecturers & researchers from TUAF to pursue their graduate studies at the U of S.

Ms Penny Skilnik informed that the U of S and Vietnam international education development (VIED) signed Memorandum of Agreement; therefore TUAF faculties, who desire to study in the U of S, can apply for scholarship funded by 911 and 599 projects.
