The delegations had Assoc. Prof. Tran Van Dien - Rector of TUAF; Assoc.Prof. Hoang Thi Bich Thao - Director of International Training and Development Center (ITC); Representatives from the Department of Science and International Affair and staffs of the internship programs in Australia of ITC.
At the meeting, representatives of the University, Assoc. Prof. Hoang Thi Bich Thao introduced the University, the specialization of training, the quality of students and especially the experience of more than 10 years of implementation of paid internship programs for students inside and outside the University. Our partners are America, Israel, Germany, and Japan.... In addition, Assoc.Prof. Hoang Thi Bich Thao asserted that most of the students sent to abroad for internship are selected, oriented and trained hard, thorough manner and participate in foreign language training classes with foreigners. Besides being sent away, all students are making their escape procedures, pledging to return to Vietnam after the internship program and ensuring that all students return to their home country on time. At present, students of the University are highly appreciated by foreign partners and Mr. Stanley is also very satisfied with how to implement the programs of Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry.
Mr. Stanley also delivered a presentation on the Australian & International Agricultural Exchange; Fields of practice for students include farm work: bananas, vegetables, fruits, tomatoes and dairy farms, pigs, poultry ... for a period of 12 months. All information about work, salary and benefits, and incentives for students participating in the program is provided by Stanley.
The meeting was a great success and promised a lot of potential for students. The delegation of TUAF as well as students with agricultural work experience nationwide will have the opportunity to participate in the program. The two sides signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and will have 30 first-time students enrolled in Stanley's agricultural exchange program and will arrive in Australia in late 2017 and early 2018.
On that afternoon, the delegations had a meeting and exchanged directly with students who registered for internship in Australia. The students were directly disseminated, listened to the details of the program as well as share from Mr. Stanley. He emphasized that students from different countries like Brazil, Japan, the Philippines, and Uzbekistan ... were very successful returning from his agricultural internship program.
